What is the difference between The Last Resort and The Lagunitas Project?
The Lagunitas Project is a nonprofit formed to “Promote the arts, architecture, and traditional cultures that spark creative solutions to environmental challenges in Marin County, CA and beyond.”
The Last Resort, under the auspices of The Lagunitas Project is a communal project for “…creating a sustainable organic eco-system that feeds people, nourishes the environment and has a minimal carbon footprint without any use of petrochemicals.” The sustainable methods found in The Last Resort are the result of a focused community experience to create positive solutions for integrating building, architecture, and art techniques with innovative systems for vermiculture, composting, and water reuse.
