Thank you for your invaluable support of The Lagunitas Project’s Board and Staff to administer our functions as a 501 (c) 3 public benefit non profit without which we would not have been able to pursue public and private foundations, major donors and the community for potential purchase of The Last Resort. Your support has also been critical for The Lagunitas Project to research and develop a comprehensive plan for remediating building code violations and to anticipate community programs that champion sustainable approaches to water reclamation, reuse and soil security.

However, as of the appeal filed by Mr. Hoffman’s attorney, Ms. Ann Draper, esq. on August 5th, 2021 to the May 12th, 2021 hearing, fundraising for the purchase of The Last Resort has subsequently been halted in consideration of the Appellate Court’s decision — typically a 2.5 year process, if not sooner.

The Lagunitas Project’s Board and Staff thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for all your contributions and support in our efforts to save The Last Resort and preserve a community legacy. We respectfully appreciate your patience during this holding pattern while Mr. Hoffman continues his legal fight and for the Federal Appellate Court’s final decision.

Thank you.
